This post is merely to point out that we were able to find cell phones for a better price than the ones our program recommended. We decided to get our phones through Yoigo, which only costs 5 euros for the phone and 5 euros per month (to keep your plan activated), and you have to load 10 euros on the phone at the beginning.
It also comes with 20 free text messages, which are always the same price to text someone within or outside of Spain. It costs 10 cents to send texts and 5 per each minute of calling time.
According to our program directors, this company does not have great coverage compared to Vodafone, but if we have problems, it is very easy to switch. I will add more about this later as I am able to test it out.
